新鋰離子儲(chǔ)能系統(tǒng)的儲(chǔ)能能力為25兆瓦時(shí)，輸出功率為25兆瓦，將成為法國(guó)最大的鋰離子儲(chǔ)能系統(tǒng)。它將被用來(lái)提供快速備用服務(wù)，以支持法國(guó)電網(wǎng)的穩(wěn)定。

這個(gè)新的存儲(chǔ)系統(tǒng)預(yù)計(jì)在2020年后期投入使用，投資約1500萬(wàn)歐元，將基于Saft的enhanced Max 20高能量解決方案，包括11個(gè)集成的2.3 MWh集裝箱，由Saft在波爾多的生產(chǎn)基地設(shè)計(jì)和制造。

Total to build the largest battery-based energy storage project in France
Total launches a battery-based energy storage project in Mardyck, at the Flandres Center, in Dunkirk’s port district.

With a storage capacity of 25 megawatt hours (MWh) and output of 25 MW of power, the new lithium-ion energy storage system will be the largest in France. It will be used to provide fast reserve services to support the stability of the French power grid.

Scheduled for commissioning in late 2020, the new storage system, which represents an investment of around €15 million, will be based on Saft’s Intensium Max 20 High Energy solution and will comprise 11 integrated 2.3 MWh containers, designed and manufactured at Saft’s production site in Bordeaux.

“This project is part of Total’s strategy to develop the stationary energy storage solutions that are critical to the expansion of renewable energy, which is intermittent by nature. It will contribute toward the goal of increasing the share of renewables in France’s energy mix, while helping to stabilize the domestic power grid,” said Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of Total.
